 Hello - Passmore Class welcomes you our page!

Teaching most of the time in here is Mr Tones – he particularly loves music and sport and has really enjoyed the start of term with his lovely new class. On Monday afternoons, Mr Strick has the pleasure of teaching computing and indoor PE.

Other adults that spend time in the class regularly are; Mrs Chant, Mrs Lovick, Mrs Langler, Mrs Shanahan and Miss Newchild. These lovely people help in all sorts of ways, from taking small groups to spending time 1:1 with children.

In Passmore, we like to share things that we have been doing and spend time at the end of the day sharing and reading our class book together. We sit in tables of four or six and often work collaboratively to share our knowledge and strengths. Vocabulary, spelling and handwriting is a key focus for us at the moment and we spend time everyday developing this. Often in the morning we will start with a word and number ‘countdown’ style activity to stimulate our minds.

We are one big team in Passmore and it is great to see the encouragement the children give to each other. Come on Year 5!
