Welcome to Wolborough Nursery
There are two classes within our Foundation Stage setting; Bakers (Nursery) and Forde (Reception). Children can start in our nursery in the term following their 3rd birthday and will receive 15 hours government funding. Extra sessions can be provided at a cost of £10.00 per session. We also accept the 30 hour funding if eligible.
We come together throughout the day to share our experiences and learn from each other.
Our Foundation Unit is a friendly and happy environment for the children, staff and parents/carers. We provide a warm and nurturing atmosphere where children are encouraged to develop a lifelong love of learning through their play. We achieve this by creating a child centred, enabling environment both indoors and outdoors.
We choose topics for our learning which reflect children’s interests and experiences.
We recognise that parents and carers are children’s first educators and we encourage you to be as involved as you are able in your child’s play and learning.
There are many opportunities for you to join us within the setting throughout the year, including; special celebration and open days and we welcome any volunteers whenever you have the time!
